Types of pile in hindi

# Bearing pile :-  bearing pile ऐसी pile है जिसको तब तक भूमि के अन्दर ठोकते जाते है जब तक Pile के नीचे hard base न आ जाए ।bearing pile , super structure का weight सहन करने के लिए Piller के रूप मे कार्य करती है ।

# friction Pile :- जब काफी गहराई तक Pile को hard base नही मिलता तो Pile के outer surface और pile के चारो तरफ के मिट्टी के आपसी घर्षण से  ही Super structure का  weight transfer होता है ।

# sheet Pile :- bearing और friction pile , super structure के weight को vertical support देकर  आलंबित करती है । लेकिन sheet Pile का use horizontal force को आलंबित करने के लिए किया जाता है । sheet Pile का use water logged area मे foundation की खुदाई करते समय, पानी खुदी Foundation से परे रखने के लिए किया जाता है ।

1. Spread foundation
2. Pier foundation
3. Pile foundation

1.फैलाव/spread foundation :- अपने नाम के according , यह Foundation structure की दीवारों के दोनो तरफ बाहर बढी हुई रहती है । Foundation के बाहर फैले होने के कारण structure का weight foundation के नीचे के मिट्टी के अधिक क्षेत्रफल पर transfer होता है जिससे Foundation के नीचे वाले मिट्टी पर weight की intensity मिट्टी की safe bearing capacity की सीमा मे रखी जाती है ।
Example :-
-wall footing
-inverted arch footing
-column footing
-grillage footing
-raft footing etc.

2. Pier foundation :- यदि structure बनने वाली जगह, कुछ गहराई तक रेतीली या नर्म मिट्टी उपलब्ध हो और इसके नीचे hard base available हो तो structure का weight, hard base पर transfer करने के लिए pier foundation का use किया जा सकता है । pier foundation मे ,hard base तक इस्पात के कुएँ गाड़ दिये जाते है और इनमे concrete का मूरम भर दी जाती है ।
इस्पात के इन कुओं के व्यास और इनकी आपस मे centre to centre distance,   type of structure, type of land, और hard base की गहराई पर depend करता है । विभिन्न कूओं को cement concrete, rcc या cap से आपस मे जोड़ दिया जाता है । इस Foundation मे इस्पात के खोल होते है जिन्हे pile की भाँति soft soil मे, hard base तक गाड़ दिया जाता है । खोल मे से मिट्टी निकाल दी जाती है और इसकी जगह cement concrete या कोई दूसरा भारवाही पदार्थ भर दिया जाता है । इस प्रकार यह कुएँ bearing piles के रूप मे कार्य करते है, और structure का weight hard base  पर transfer करते है ।

3. Pile foundation :- जब spread foundation व्यवहारिक नही होता है तो एसी जगहो पर pile foundation का use होता है ।

Pile foundation तीन प्रकार के होते है :-

#friction pile
#sheet pile

मिट्टी की bearing capacity बढ़ाने के लिए कुछ तरीके निम्नलिखित है :-

1. Foundation की depth बढ़ाने से bearing capacity बढ जाती है लेकिन यह method useful तभी होगा जब भूमिगत जल स्तर काफी नीचे हो ।

2. Soft soil मे sand, gravel, small stone इत्यादि मिलाकर कूटाई करने से soft soil की bearing capacity  बढ जाती है ।

3. Water drainage system सुधारकर bearing capacity को बढ़ाया जा सकता है । क्योंकि निश्चित moisture पर मिट्टी की bearing capacity maximum होती है ।

4. Sheet piles की मदद से Foundation वाले जगह मिट्टी confine करने से इसकी bearing capacity बढ़ाई जा सकती है । sandy region मे यह method काफी useful है ।

5. Wooden pile की मदद से structure की Foundation वाली जगह मे छेद कर दिया जाता है तथा इनमे रेत भरकर कूट दिया जाता है । इस प्रकार के बने हुए pile  को sandy pile कहते है । sandy pile को पास पास लगाने से मिट्टी की bearing capacity बढ़ाई जा सकती है ।

6. Cement के घोल से grouting करके भी bearing capacity को बढाया जा सकता है ।

7. Chemical treatment से भी मिट्टी की bearing capacity को बढाया जा सकता है ।

☆ किसी भी मिट्टी  ( soil ) की bearing capacity से तात्पर्य है कि यह मिट्टी structures द्वारा transfer कितना भार safely सहन कर सकता है । bearing value, bearing capacity,  bearing power, सब same ही है । मिट्टी की per unit volume का weight जितना अधिक होगा उसकी bearing capacity उतनी ही अधिक होगी । जिस minimum weight पर foundation fail हो जाती है वह weight उस मिट्टी का ultimate bearing capacity कहलाता है । मिट्टी की safe bearing capacity निकालने के लिए हम ultimate bearing capacity मे factor of safety से भाग दे देते है । generally factor of safety का मान 2 या 3 लिया जाता है । किसी भी structure की safety के लिए यह जरूरी है कि Foundation के नीचे के subsoil को safe bearing capacity से अधिक overload नही किया जाए ।

# Foundation के fail होने के मुख्य कारण :-

1.foundation के नीचे subsoil का settlement equal नही होना ।

2. masonry का settlement equal न होना ।

3.structure के नीचे के soil का खिसकना ।

4. Atmospheric effect

5. Structure पर lateral pressure के कारण इसका overturn करना

6. Foundation के नीचे के subsoil मे से moisture के सूखने के कारण

किसी भी structure का lowest part foundation कहलाता है। किसी भी building और structure का load foundation के द्वारा ही earth पर transfer होता है। foundation brick, stone,  concrete, steel, reinforced concrete किसी भी material की हो सकती है।
